This doesn’t work for me at all. The closest fiddlehead to the lens is grossly out of focus. It pulls all my attention right there. Fiddlehead’s like this are marvelously green but yours are to bright on the top then going into deep shadow on the curl and the stalk. I like the background but get nothing from the subject.

Lack of sharp focus is a big problem for me. The color seems way off.

Way too busy and no discernible subject. One might be identified if it would be in focus. Not an easy subject.
