I've tried still life ... once. What could be easier?? You just take a shot and if it's a little fuzzy just take your time in taking another one. It's always going to be there. It's not going to run away. So what could be easier. ha.
Maybe if I turn the vase so it facing front more or make put the candle on the other side or turn it so the handle is in front of the vase. Maybe I should change the back ground to just plain all white or move everything a little further away. No thanks, no thanks and no thanks been there done that ... once and never again. Just give me my wildlife, running or flying as if their lives depended upon it and I'll be happy.

THAT shot of yours, my friend, is a super shot, everything is perfect. It belongs on your wall.

Thank you very much...given free choice I too would be out there with you, foot loose and fancy free but health issues have made me house bound so still life it is. Better than nothing at all. Thanks for looking.

Yes, it takes a dedication to art, design, and composition to craft a good still life.

I also enjoy doing still life pieces. Yours is nice example.. I looked at the download page and then blew it up before I realized you used something like Topaz for a little something extra. Nicely done, not over done. Good job. 👏
