A step up, not really. The same MP count but faster, better low light and a flip screen and 40% lighter. Some improvement but it really depends on what you shoot.

Yepper My Fellow Photog. As you know through past comments of mine, I just resisted change as I got into a Rut for awhile with my Health and other issues. My fellow Forensics Officers from the DEA even ribbed me. But one day a very close Friend of mine gave me his R5 to use, well after seeing How Much Easier that it made my Photography I caved and got with the times. The only concern that I have is the costs that will incur upon Parents that have kids wanting to become a creative. You really gave me some good advice last week and I was able to get their Kid a Great deal on a Canon IV. This kid has been at my door everyday to learn the ins and outs. With His determination, I'am positive that he will achieve High Standards as He is on His way to being the Valedictorian of His Graduating Class this year.
