My first attempt at painting a photo using the IColorama app on my IPad. It’s a paid app but worth the price if you are interested in converting your images to painted images. This app offers many different options for editing your photos. I shot the original image in Venice several years ago.
I really like to the effects on the first one.
Impressive. I looked it up on my iPad. From the samples they show it doesn't look easy. Looks like you have it working quite well. Congratulations.
It is that unholy iPad, iPhone stuff again... icolorama @$4.99 it should not be allowed in the UHH world populated by DSLR editing programs that are very expensive or rented by the month. This beautiful watercolor effect for a low price has caused a rash of depression and denial by these poor folks.
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/icolorama/id490528854There are programs that allow such programs to work on PC Computers. Realize that if disruptive knowledge of this infiltration into the photo edit world becomes common knowledge, then Adobe will be forced to drastic actions to gather money. Perhaps fine print in the monthly Adobe contract will have hidden phrases such as "ad infinitum and perpetuity," endlessly, to infinity.
Very impressive results. How long did it take you to complete the process?

Thank you. You are right, the program is not very intuitive. Recently, I found a Facebook group called Photo2Paint. The admin is an artist that also has a paid training website for several different painting apps. IColorama and Fotosketcher are two of them. Recently, he made the site free to anyone wanting to learn how to turn your photos into painting. I put a link to the site over in the links section. Here’s what the site looks like.

Thank you. I didn’t keep track of the time, but it took awhile. I had to keep watching the training video, stop, do some painting, watch video, etc. I am using an Apple Pencil with my IPad. I use a Wacom tablet and Pen on my PC so I’m comfortable with the Apple pen. I think I’m going to really like IColorama once I get the hang of it.
Nice processing--I like it a lot.
Thanks for sharing these. FYI The artist in the 30 min video is the same artist I referenced earlier. His site with all his tutorials is now free to everyone. Photo2Paint.com
Looks like a painting on stucco.
