To make this picture I had to split the bottle in half in PhotoShop, layer the sailboat in position. Warp the sailboat to mimic how the bottle would visually distort the sailboat. Once that was finished add appropriate highlights and shadows to mimic how the kitchen lights would hit the boat in the bottle. Finally the front of the bottle had to be reconstructed. Each item such as reflections and letters were a layer in PhotoShop. All in all there were 42 layers.
hope you where able to salvage the last drop of vodka before the overhaul
Great achievement, great photo! I wonder what the file size was of those 42 layers before you flattened it. Any idea?
Wow, you are a pro. I wouldn't know where to begin. Are you self taught?
I don't cosider myself a pro at all. I am sure there were many things I could have done easier but did not know how.
I had a vision in my head and knew what I wanted. Many steps I had to redo to get it the way I wanted. It was an interesting exercise.
Once i fished with a group of layers I flattened the layers. For example the letters for the name of the vodka.
