If you were looking for a critique- and you say it is a study.
I like the technique. Really makes the subject impressionistic... To really set it off... some sort of pose is required, something unexpected or that take time to figure out, or perhaps a landscape... or close-up crop...
Right now its just a snap shot with an interesting texture.... but I would love to see it applied elsewhere.. so it is a sucesss.

Interesting and thought provoking processing, I like it. The blown out white circle on the breast is a little too large and distracting for me, wish it had a touch more detail in that area.
