I know it was not easy for you to deal with the passing of Trixie. I have had to end a partnership with two pets in the past and boy was it a hard one to do. I'm glad to hear that you now have Stella to partner with.

I hope your return to posting on UHH is not a short one and that we may occasionally see some pictures of Stella in future posts.

In ancient times cats were worshipped as gods-they have not forgotten this!😁
Happy to see you again.

This is Stella the Queen, who came to me in December, six months after I lost my beloved dog Trixie.

I barely survived a grueling six-weeks apprenticeship, but ultimately the Queen deemed me an acceptable servant

Now that's cool!!!!!

Ah, She looks like a winner Linda. Looks just like Zipper; that was my Wife's cat. Good luck and have fun Linda. Cats are weird, and funny!

Thank you! I love both dogs and cats (most all animals, actually). Stella was about 3.5 months old when she came to rule my home in December; that's the youngest cat I've lived with, so it has been both joyful and frustrating. They don't seem to respect the "No" word, do they

A fun shot, Linda, but you have to remember that dogs have owners and cats have staff. It is WONDERFUL to see you posting again!

Thanks so much, Mike. Yes, Stella reminds me daily of my place in the pack

No, they do not understand that word. My current Persian insists on jumping up onto my lap every time I want to sit in the recliner with a snack. I can tell her,"Millie, no, now go eat your Salmon", but she just keeps getting a little closer to my snack and then I have to convince her to get down with a little physical encouragement. I got Millie when she was 8 weeks old after I had to have Miley put down because of congestive heart problems. I waited just a little over a year to get Millie, but I finally decided the house was to empty. She is just a little over 2 yrs now. Her biggest problem is always being under my feet when I'm cooking or getting something out of the fridge, and forget about reading anything, she likes to sit on my arm or what I'm trying to read. Wait a minute, those are probably my problems. She doesn't like cameras, and I'm having a terrible time trying to get some decent pictures of her. I'm going to succeed though, and when I do I'll send you and Stella one or two. That picture of Stella is just right, She reminds me of Zipper soo much. The house is still too quite without Carol and Zipper.

They steal our hearts regardless of their demands. I look forward to seeing a photo of Millie!

It’s good to see you Linda.
Mike (the servant of Maisy, Manny & Luigi). The queen and her two litter mates.
