I was able to get a quick vacation after 2+ years of lockdowns. Had a chance to use the 600mm on a mix of aquatic birds chancing on meals being exposed by a farmer tilling the land. Was also able to do some play painting with my daughter.
He was tilling the land and exposing food to the wild birds.
the opportunity got me a few BIFs too.
We were discussing classical painting and she was inspired to try her hands on it. I was guiding her but we were just play painting so we used poster colors instead of oil.
Since poster color was used, a clear lacquer spray was applied after it dried to protect the paint.
This took about 6 hrs of two 3hr sitting to finish.
Nice shots! Where were the outdoor shots and who is the artist, who appears to be very talented?

Thanks.
The farmer & birds was in Minalabac, Camarines Sur, Philippines.
The artist was my 15 year old daughter. We did the painting together.
The painting is excellent - keep working with her!

Wow! Nice work on both your parts.
Beautiful. The painting is real talent!
Try to keep her interested, she has real talent! I like the photos too!
Looks great Wallen - looks like you made it back to the Philippines? After 2 years, it must have been a great homecoming - I am edgy to go "home" to Switzerland also at the end of April - sure hope it works this time, cancelled already 3 trip before. Nice pictures!
