This game was also played at Cox Pavilion where the lighting was just ok. I still had to shoot at iso 10,000. I cleaned the noise up with Topaz Denoise AI on all shots. No way around it. Used Topaz Sharpening on some.
Nikon D4
70-200 2.8
24-70 2.8
85 mm 1.8
1/1000 at 2.8
Auto iso
Auto White Balance

Used some flash on a Nikon D500 for after the game shots.

My friend these are wonderful. Even with the bad lighting you mentioned. You always work your magic. I will go on Max today and have a look. This last week has been a horror for me. We had Sub-States in basketball I was going to shoot. probably 5 games. I get this thing every year (starts sore throat, then gets in chest, cough my lungs out, upset stomach, and the hurt everywhere). I was just thinking last week that I had made it almost through the winter and not had this. I'll be damned if Monday I didn't wake up with this CRAP. I still cough a little and stomach is still a little messed up but better. I had set some new settings and was so excited to try them and then this. Keep posting friend. Not many post from our HOG friends, where are you. Come on Baseball, Softball, Soccer, and Track and Field. I talked to one of my close baseball head coaches and told him KSHSAA had told me I couldn't shoot from dugouts or on fields. He said you don't worry about it you are always welcome in MY dugout. Thanks BE SAFE!!

Tom:
So sorry your sick. It's a rough time for you. But your getting better and that's the important thing.
Your right not to many posts, but maybe the ugg members are busy with other things, especially with what's going on in the world.
Get better soon,
Jules

Nice series. I really like the image of the young lady holding the trophy. Looks like she just wants to bust out with a massive smile, but trying to remain "cool". I also like the two showing "contact" as they show the intensity found in a game like this!
