In a small shallow depression in the soil of the island in the middle of the Duck Pond at the Riverwalk Parkway is this lone egg that something pecked open to eat the insides. No duckling for Mama duck this try.

Thanks, it should have been a cute funny little fluff ball toddling after Mama and learning to swim in the pond.😢 And I would have done a ton of images if I remembered I had my camera instead of just watching it.
