What was the light source that you painted with?

Early morning sun did it for me, I just waited.

A beautiful shot. Would you please share the light source you used for your light painting? Thank you.

I waited about 25 minutes for the sun to light up the greens. I took shots about every couple of minutes and this one was the one I liked best.

Don't mean to bum you out but that's not the technique of "Painting with Light".

I think he is well aware of that, and this is his "take" on the technique. He is a very accomplished photographer!

Okay, hope I didn't offend anyone but my original comment stands.

Not bummed at all. I call it painting with light. Isn't the sun great. It is not a technique, I waited since sunrise, and when the light PAINTED my scene just the way I wanted it, I took the image.
And so I call this image, painting with light.

How did the bird reman still long enough to paint the scene with light and how were you able to freeze the feathers with light painting?
