I get the regular gray/blue gray and some of these very light colored doves in my yard. I read that there is a sub-species "African Collared Dove" that live in North Africa and are very light colored, often with hints of tan to blend into the sands in many areas. And they were popular through pet stores with the result that you get populations of them around some large metro areas in the US.
Well this one and his buddy were feeding in my flower bed. Early afternoon light, open sky in shade. I processed for the patterns and textures in the feathers.
