We PM'ed once or twice but it fell on deaf ears. This is maybe two years ago and I'm still not allowed to post.
I've been curious if its the same admin. for all the sections or are there different people involved.

I tried to make the case for Joe McCarthy that his rooting c*******ts from government was not rooting out personal thought. It was rooting out subversive anti-American people capable of bringing down our American form of government and freedoms. They were entrenched in positions to do harm. And in the end---they got him. And I told the t***h about Pearl Harbor which is generally accepted now except by those not wanting to believe we could be d**gged into the war by FDR. And that knowledge was known in 1944 and not used in time of war by Gov. Dewey out of patriotism. Yet all that was redacted by the Admin. But I have had my posts on my FACEBOOK page redacted with threats for posting materials by Robert W Malone MD, MS and by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and his Child's Health movement against forced v******tion. We are in an age of opinions, yet what I have posted were facts.-----Eric Westhagen

I have a hard time understanding why people don't want to hear the t***h. How can anyone come up with the right answer if its based on lies.
If they don't believe you and think you are lying then they can get off their lazy butt and dig up the info for a counter argument and we all will learn something.
If they are being dishonest and don't want you to counter their lies, what can you do? If you can't have a reasonable discussion with someone all we can do is write them off.

i defended Joe McCarthy against a UHH comment implying I defended what has been called by the Left---McCarthyism and witch hunts as though he were simply doing away with political enemies and free thought and speech. I was asked specifically if I favored "McCarthyism."-----ew

When Joe McCarthy spoke in Ripon, WI at the Republican Centennial, the square was so full of people when I came to it when I was twelve, I could barely see, so I went around to the back side of the raised platform and simply went under the platform to listen to his major National broadcast address! Those were different times? I had my 35mm with me---but obviously did not get any photos from underneath. I had gotten photos of the nighttime lighting of the eternal candle ceremony, though.----ew

Like most College campuses in those days--Ripon College also had a "Joe Must Go" movement. But unlike most schools, the head of the Political Science department had seen first hand what USSR c*******m was like as he was from Kracow, Poland and earned a second PhD in the USA. He debated all comers, defending McCarthy from the stage of the Ripon College Auditorium. He was the most profound anti-c*******t at that time and place.------ew

McCarthy did use some very vicious attacks, and his alcoholism probably was part of the fuel in his accusations, but he was also spot on with a lot of his investigations.

There was the Amerasia "affair". This magazine published, nearly word for word, top secret policy documents concerning American and British policies, post WWII. The State Department was a virtual sieve of intelligence and policy leakage by C*******t sympathizers and fellow travelers. The Soviets were getting American intelligence in near real time. The FBI had names, dates, etc., yet their investigation was stymied and covered up by the U.S. Department of Justice. It was also dismissed by the Senate Tydings Commission, yet McCarthy's investigation has been proved to be absolutely accurate.

To wit: If Joe McCarthy was such a pariah and nut case, why did the Kennedy clan, nearly en masse, defend him? JFK praised him, RFK worked for him and asked him to be godfather to his first born, and the Kennedy girls dated him.

And with the publication and declassification of the Venona cables, it was proven beyond any shred of doubt that the Rosenberg's were guilty of espionage; that Alger Hiss was guilty, as were any number of others. McCarthy was far closer to the t***h than anyone who accused him was. Liberal author Nicholas Von Hoffman admitted as much in 1996.

My Dad, Dr. M.H. Westhagen, held sway as Chm. and head of Econ. at Ripon College from 1948 until his death in 1972--24 years. He did not mix politics with academic economics and his majors were required to take two semesters of History of Economic Thought. Yet he hired a professor with alternative views to his own for academic discourse for students. He did offer a course, though in Soviet Economic Systems which included Chinese c*******m from the economic standpoint as well.----------Eric
