I swear that I can hear some of them hit the table... striking play on geometry... but I think these dice are loaded, there are too many 5's, to be honest dice!!

I recall that you were trying to fill in the black on a few pips. I like this version a lot. It does exactly what younger looking for. The reflection in the pips are accurate as well.

I think I recall you want to present this at your camera club. My only suggestion would be to mess around with framing. See if it helps or hinders the shot.

This is fun! Congratulations

I think this one is a lot better than the first one you did...

I didn't see the first one so don't know about the changes. Looking with a fresh eye I am disturbed by the lack of any shadow detail in many of them. It makes it seem as though you are only showing part of the dye. I like the black background but would change the fill light / key light ratio so there was something to see on each side.

I hope the dice are not loaded, they are my wife's bunco dice. Hmmmm she does seem to win pretty often.

Thanks for looking

I did not fill in the pips as discussed. Used a different photo or two from the session that did not have the same problems.

Thanks for you input.

Thank you for looking and taking the time to comment.

The first attempt was posted on 2/8/22. This was part of an experiment using a new strobe that allows me to set the number of flashes during an exposure, as well as a club exercise using light coming in from the side. I do like the idea of a second light. Will have to experiment with that when/if I attempt the exercise again.

this is better than your first one. I like the look of the dice that have three faces. I also like how sharp the dice are against the black background. But, the dice with only two faces look sort of one dimensional. I feel like I should be able to see most of three sides to all of the dice.

First, thanks for looking and commenting.

I will look at that in post and see what I can do.

Thanks again.
