Perhaps if the Republicans get soundly thrashed in the midterms they will understand that Trump is the weight around their necks that will drown them and the party.

Well said and thecreason I say trump is thrown in the ditch where he belongs after the primaries

Problem is, you do not have that say. You are a Left Wing Troll and can only deal with Biden and Kamala. Sucks to be you, eh?

Why would Republicans get thrashed in the midterms. Democrats are destroying the economy as well as immigration. Surely people can recognize that we were doing better as a country under Trump than Biden. And, I might add that there is no way that Trump is any more corrupt than Biden either.

Even the liberal press are starting to investigate H****r B***n, and now Hillary is being implicated in wrong doing. It amazes me that because Trump is crude all at once you view him as evil personified, but your idols do everything that you claim Trump has done and more yet you still seem to be OK with them.

No worries. That was only wishful thinking on Francine's part. She should know better but still does not. Let's wait until the midterms to see just how badly one party is thrashed. As long as Biden and Harris are still in office I think we have this one.

Do you ever have anything intelligent to add to the conversation?

No, still too arrogant. I would take Romney over DeSantis.

I suspect you would support Cheney or Kinzinger, and they probably have zero chance because they have been blacklisted by the RNC, but I think they have their heads on straight and they care about the country and democracy more than they care about themselves.

You said, "The acid test for any Republican running for office is that he never speaks ill of trump", but the OP said he never cared for Trump's personality but v**ed for him twice because he liked his policies.

Don't you think your theory/opinion falling on its face from square one could be complete garbage in general?

Do you ever contribute to the discussion troll?? Or just call name and post inane insults. Demonstrated your juvenile mentality.

Of all the politicians I also would like Romney. Governors. I don’t think I have seen any yet that up to the task of tuning a country - despite tuning a state.
Senators are predominantly not aligned with party rather than country.
House representative are all second rate and far far from p**********l material.
I would like to see some of the retired military speak up They have served the country for decades, understand
service before self and gave no allegiance to a party.

A reasonable suggestion on creating a list of qualities needed, but I don't have all the answers and would like input from others. However, to start the ball rolling here is a short list of my thoughts on the matter:

1. Someone that will put America first rather than their personal or party political agendas and goals.
2. Someone with P**********l character worthy of the office.
3. Someone that wants to control our current "Tax and Spend" system of government and has a plan to do so.
4. Someone that can improve our economy without all the give away incentives that only put us further in debt.
5. Someone that will limit the printing of more worthless paper money, which is a major source of inflation.
6. Someone that will take a hard line on the ongoing war on terrorism without trying to be "Guardians of the Galaxy"
7. Someone for fair and legal immigration rather than broad amnesty for i*****l i*******ts.
8. Someone that can lead by example and promote "bi-partisin" cooperation in Congress and elsewhere.
9. Someone that can find some mid-ground on C*****e C****e and make realistic decisions on how to proceed.
10. Most of all, someone that can win against the liberal left and promote more conservative government well into the future.
A reasonable suggestion on creating a list of qual... (show quote)

The problem that I see with your list is that Jesus doesn't like politics.

First off what on earth is a discussion troll? Am I right in pointing out you should have had a comma right after the word, discussion? That way you are asking a question about a discussion and pointing it toward a troll. Was that meant for someone else other than me perhaps? OR are you just calling me a troll because I have a different viewpoint than you do?

Others here call me names and post inane insults as you just did. Is that because of your own juvenile mentality. Think about it. You insult me, you call me names and yet you act as if you are above those names you call me. Not THERE is an INFANTILE mentality.

Oh yes, my posting this back in reply to your insulting thread is evidence I do contribute to the discussion. Problem is you do not agree with what I post so you insult me.

Are you for real, Senators NOT aligned with party??? You mean like Pelosi, Schumer, Romney, Graham, McConnell and every other one in the Senate. The Democratic Senators, save 2, are all aligned with the Democratic Party, almost in lockstep if you will. Apparently you have not seen that.

Military, you say. No allegiance to a party you say. You must mean like General Milley for instance.
