Very nice shot! And yes that cloud bank was a fast moving front that cut across where I live in Eastern PA about half an hour before it it NY. It only lasted about 20 minutes but the wind was about 45 mph and dumped almost an inch of snow in that short a period of time. The temperature fell from 41 to 28 in a matter of about five minutes! The roads were warm so most pavement did not have any snow sticking to it. About an hour later the sun was out and most of the snow even on the grass had departed. I was driving home when it hit and it was a virtual white-out for about 15 minutes.
