Even if he is blind??????? Boy I wish my mom would have saved some of my childhood stuff. Actually, I bet I could create more of I put on a blindfold.
This is exactly what David Hockney's mom did as he was growing up.
Picasso could paint like a photograph... But photography can do the role that painters only could provide. So artists deviated from photographs, they had to! and explored other things that photography can't . However, looking on your phone or iPad or computer screen or even plate in a book can't do them justice. Picasso's Guernica or Monet's Water lillies, or the sheer magnificence or of Michelangelo's David- you have to be in their presence, as that is a major intentional factor in their creation. The first two are billboard sized, and they affect you. David is the single most impressive thing I have had the pleasure of being in the presence of. And you don't have to be a fine Arts degree student to feel the effect of any of these.
Then there is the celebrity function to consider... Picasso would apparently pay for everything by check, as a rather large portion of these would never be cashed... the signature was collected. This effect can also be seen in Hunter Bidens absolute crap. There is a lot of art I wouldn't bother to look at, but if the signature was the right one, you bet I'd cash in on it.

I was fortunate to be at the Picasso Museum in Paris in 2017 when Guernica was exhibited. The sheer majesty of the painting cannot be appreciated from a print or photograph.
