Happened to catch an eagle feeding and tree hoping last weekend. It was a great opportunity to try out my new D850 with the 200-500 f/5.6 on.

Yes, I had a 200-500 on my D500 and it was great but hard for me, at my age, to hand hold so I sold the 200-500 and replaced it with the Nikon 500mm PF prime. I use the 500mm for 90% of my shooting and the 300mm PF fills in nicely for closer shots.
