I recently posted a series of images from Yosemite in the Photo Gallery. I also just read a post on this section about "Suggestions for this Site". In the Photo Gallery, I didn't mention anything about the equipment I used to create those images, but I thought I'd share that info here. The attached images from that series were taken with my iphone 12 and post-processed in PS.
I agree somewhat with Curmudgeon about the usefulness of this forum. This section could be used to ask questions or discuss methods, strengths and limitations of smartphones to create their art. But any smartphone image displayed here (other than posting for help) should be able to stand on it's own in any of the other sections.
Just my thoughts
Good work, Mike! Like you, I find that I can process the shots from my iPhone11 Pro in LR successfully. My pano work using individual shots stitched in LR are better than what I can get in my iPhone.
Beautiful images! #1 is gorgeous. For pano's I also prefer to stitched them together in Photoshop.
Gorgeous images Mike, and that first one is spectacular!
These are really nice, Mike--enjoyed!
Very nice series, especially #1. That one is spectacular.

#1 is simply majestic, hints of Ansel Adams. Who says smartphones can't produce amazing images.
