Nice edits. Chinatown is my favorite. It has a mysterious feel to it. I particularly like the "hand" in the crossing light.

Care to share some behind the scene's processing methods used to achieve this look?

Thank You, glad you enjoyed them. I also like the hand in the crossing light, one of those right place, right time shots.

I first did the shot as somewhat of an older or vintage sketch, more of a monochrome effect. After I had the sketch, I used 3 copies of the background original shot layer on top of the layer stack, with different blending modes, and opacities, first was a luminance blending mode low opacity, second layer find edges-desaturate-sharpen edges with hard light as the blending mode, and third was a color blending mode, then into camera raw for some final adjustments.

Thanks so much for the explanation. I just started using the " Find Edges" feature the other day. I think I'm going to like it. Are you using a filter for getting the " Sketch" look?

My favorite way to do the initial sketch is from a photoshop essentials tutorial entitled photo to detailed sketch. I’m on my phone now so I’m unable to add the link. After I’ve done the sketch. I customize it from there, whether it’s to colorize it or do the find edges for more detail, then I’ll do some brush work for the effect I want.

Another nice set. When I saw the second shot, I thought B/W. It could give a 19th century look.

All of these are very nice, but I think Mrs. Red-bellied woodpecker is my favorite!
