Thank you Frank. I spotted a pair in a old cottonwood grove of tree's. The larger of the two flew deeper into the woods. The other, which I think was the male, stayed for the photo shoot.
Thank you Beth. I went back this morning and they were at the fishing pond again. They will be around for another month or so and then back to the high country.
Spotted two Bald Eagles at the local state park fishing pond. I was getting ready to leave and of course the one I was just taking shots of took off and came back with a fish. Here are a few shots -
Everyone a great photo. #s 6, 7, & 8 are wonderful. #6 is my favorite of all. This Eagle didn't pick a very good table to eat his fish.
Thank you Hereford. I think his dining table is a safe place to eat. There were two crows above in the tree waiting for any mishaps with the fish, and the seagulls are always in the area of the fishing pond.
