Learning curve to switch from Nikon P510 to Canon SX70

I am interested to switching as the Nikon P510 I have is at the end of its life. Both are limited in many ways but suit my needs well. The question is the operation of the Canon going to require a steep learning curve to master? Thanks for any comments.

No.
Canon products follow the mantra they have had since the '70s.
Simple to use yet get great shots.
Their menu system is highly praised for ease of use over other menu systems.
Just pick it up and turn it on and go to town.

I had a SX50 and a SX60. Totally agree with Architect1776. Kind wish I didn’t let them go.

I still have my SX50 - I love it. I had no issues learning to use it.

They are similar. You can learn it quickly.

Personally, love the 60, one stopped working well, bought a 70, didn't really see any big improvement, more pixels, but seems more noisy at low light to me. Maybe options I don't use often. It may do 5 vs 3 exposure bracket settings? Seem pretty ruggid, one dropped onto stone/concrete floor twice, still works, no broken case, lens, etc.

There are used "good" P520's on Amazon for around $200 which should present no learning curve as they are nearly the same??

Don't know Nikon, so this may be irrelevant.
Besides flashy new things, the SX cameras can be more basic in options: no bulb mode, limited timer settings, more limited iso settings. For example, I have found no way to do any real timed astro stuff, fine for moon, solar +w. filter), etc., but no star field. Great for museums, plants, animals, just depends on your needs.
