This tickled me.
We take it for granted. Who’d have thought of it??

G'day Bunko,
I'm here in the middle of Minnesota where it's 0709H so I just wasn't sure as to whether I should say good morning, good afternoon or good evening so I tried what I think is an appropriate and pleasant Australian greeting. Anyway, although the gravity on the moon is only 16.5% of Earths' the sliding Astronaut would begin his slide eventually - just a lot slower than here on Mother Earth. Love the cartoon!
I am currently 72 years old and, although, having seen and having become accustomed to nearly all of the worldwide tech advances over the past 72 years and spending my working life in what has become an extremely technical occupation (45+ years in Health Care as R.N. and Thoracic / Vascular Physician Assistant and Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner) I remain completely and absolutely amazed at the fact that when I hit the "send" key this message will, nearly instantly, appear in your computer. I guess I just have never lost my sense of wonder.
All the very best to you and yours in the upcoming year Bunko.

G'day Bunko, br br I'm here in the middle of... (
show quote)
Yeah, G’day covers all, day, night anytime. I agree that the wonders of technology makes our world exciting.
I often talk face to face with friends around the world.
The changes to our life in 70+ years, 77 for me, are amazing to look back on.
The forthcoming 70+ years is not thought I feel good about, socially or technologically.
I feel life as we’ve had it, won’t be as enjoyable as it was.
A sense of humour is as important to one of Wonder. Cheers to you & yours, Terry.
