Looking for reliable photo print service…
Anyone have RECENT experience with a quality (affordable) print service?
My local Office Depot closed down (they had some very sophisticated equipment and did good work).
Prefer entities that ship rolled prints in cardboard tubes…
Will only need limited runs… not high volume.
Sizing? 9-12; 11-14 and max of 16-20.
Surface? Semi gloss or matte or similar.
I may be reopening my studio soon…
Clients like a turnkey solution… i.e. I provide hair; makeup; wardrobe styling etc (and yes prints if requested)...
Many thanks in advance for those who share their recent experiences here.
The pandemic has significantly changed the playing field, at least in my market.

I highly recommend Bay Photo - first class. Not sure if they ship rolled as I typically have them mounted on gaterboard or similar. Their color is accurate, their service is fast, and they pack exceedingly well and use FedX air at a reasonable price. They print any size imaginable (including odd sizes), and their metallic prints are superb. If there’s an issue of any kind, they replace it immediately at no charge. I used to have them drop ship to customers when I was selling prints, and never had anything but praise for their work. If you decide to use them, be sure to download their Bay ROES Ap and their ICC profile. The Ap gives you access to all their sizes and media and if your workflow is calibrated, you can omit their color correction and save almost 40%.
Thank you so much yorkiebyte... Their services look rather promising... Bookmarked: Will give them a try...
BTW: Love your flickr feed... beautifully done!
Many thanks TriX! Yes I've heard about Bay Photo many times before...
Guess it's finally about time I try them.
Bookmarked!
Love your Kitty Cat Avatar!
And thank you for your service to our country... deeply appreciated...
Thomas - For many years I've used either BayPhoto or White House Custom Color.
Nations Photo does good work.
Thank you for getting back to me on my query Bill, it is greatly appreciated!
Yes I've used WHCC in the past and they indeed do stellar work...
Have used them for business cards... They did a fantastic job!
Will put them on my short list :)
Again many thanks Bill!
Thank you for your recommendation of Nations Photo John! They are very competitive in their pricing...
Greatly appreciate you efforts here, I wasn't aware of Nations Photo... Bookmarked! They are now on my short list :)
Again many thanks John...
Do you have a membership in Costco? I think their service is quite good, fast, and if you don't like it, they'll redo it (or at least they did when that worked in-store).
I've been using Whitehouse Custom Color, their quality of work is exceptional.

I'm not a frequent customer of large prints and have only used Nations Photo once but was very satisfied with the service. The prints I ordered were not rolled but were well packaged flat and appropriately marked to handled carefully. I also appreciated their prices. i did use another service one time for a print larger than 16X20 but don't recall the name.
Costco on line. They ship prints on tubes
