From the "godan1 Collection".
Someone asked about VWs, so I included a few here. No way I can tell the year on them unless it's specifically stated. The last two are from my own photos, one from a local car show, and the last one was a VW a friend of mine painted herself, from back in 1977.

More great photos of those fantastic cars. I can't believe you have a photo of the 61 Catalina. The one you have here is a 2 door and we had a 4 door but that is the closest I've ever seen. Thanks for posting it.
Dodie
I love that Continental! One big slab of steel.
Ah, the memories! Thanks for posting.
I'm with NMGAL on the purple Olds. Always wanted a car with suicide doors so I go for the Continental

Have been enjoying this series KT
I was a Volkswagen salesman at Solano Volkswagen in Vallejo, California in the mid-seventies. I still like them and wouldn't mind having an old bug to drive around. I had four in my younger years. I imagine most everyone my age has some VW "tales". Microbus (as shown) prices, are through the roof. In great shape, easily over a hundred grand for a "23 window". Who knew?!! I can differentiate some but I wouldn't "bet the farm" on the years. I'd love to have #9 in my garage.
All these are nice, especially the Lincoln convertible with the suicide doors.
I'm enjoying your year by year series very much...great idea!
