More from last weeks snowstorm.
First off, these were taken in very strong winds. The drone did an excellent job of handling the wind. I don't know what that pink is on the right side of the 1st photo. I did no editing, but it seems like an artifact of some kind. Hmmm...
Enjoy!
Looking north from a main road a couple of blocks from my house.

Looking west from that same, main road. My house is the green one at the tip of the giant evergreen.

See that sideways "C" shape on the left side of the green house? That is 42ft. of trestle for my garden railroad.

This lady is used to me flying drones in front of my house. She is not bothered in the least.

That big building is a hospital that is nice and close to my house.

Notice the flag on the garage wall of the brown house.

In another place he wrote he is using a DJI Air 2s. I'm using the cheaper DJI Mini 2 and enjoy the results. Even the cheaper one shoots both RAW and JPEG along with 4K video.
If you want one, you better get it quick! Yesterday, U.S. Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL), Rick Scott (R-FL), Tom Cotton (R-AR) and Congress member Elise Stefanik (R-NY) introduced the "Countering CCP Drones Act".
Congress member Stefanik announced that, "“DJI drones pose a national security threat with wings. The possibility that DJI drones could be equipped to send live imagery of military installations, critical infrastructure, and
the personal lives of American citizens to China poses too great a threat. Allowing this practice to continue in the U.S. is playing with fire.
This Chinese-controlled company cannot be allowed to continue to operate in the U.S.”

Everybody spies on everybody else in this world. In the early '70s I was a minor US Navy spy pilot. Google Earth has pictures of everywhere. We give up our information to Google maps and the social media.
How in h*ll, can the Chinese glean anything useful from what I take pictures of? If we cut of China, we will be giving up a long list of very fine, well made consumer products.

Wow! Just when I thought congress and the White house couldn't get any stupider.
Of all the sections on UHH, this is probably the best one! This is great! O.k., I'll stop laughing now.
Oh, and another thing; when I bought the DJI mini, I had no idea that the mini 2 would be out so soon. I could have waited if I would have known. The mini served its' purpose.
