I know, I know, you’re saying to yourself, “this doesn’t look like a photograph”.

But wait - I took the picture from a magazine using a super hi-res digital camera.

And then somehow, was unable to resist a teeny weeny bit of post processing.

So arguably this is (OK, was) a real photo.

If you used a camera in the process I'd call it a photo. Maybe image is a better term. It seems to be interchangeable with photograph.

This is the same girl Norma Jeane Mortenson. NO PP. I did color her gown red for a photo contest in another print. This was 1954 right after she married Joe Demagogue. And of course we were in Korea.
