This is NOT a political post; it’s about tv coverage, so please do not turn it political.

That said, the NBC coverage of the Olympics would be much better if it kept its focus on the athletes and the events rather than spending so much time dwelling on social commentary about China. We all get enough of that on the news. Stick to the games, NBC!

From my now feeble memory, I liked the ABC sports Olympic TV coverage from my youth days, mid-60s to late-70s.

I agree. Let the Olympics be the Olympics. Too few things left that haven't been devalued by politics.

No matter how you cut it, it’s part of the liberal agenda. No political connection intended.

"The Thrill of Victory and the Agony of Defeat" was the classic line that played on my TV.

It’s funny how someone can show their ignorance in so many ways. Yeah, it’s best you stay in the jungle.

The jungle I was referring to is San Francisco. Enough political crap, I’m watching skiing on the Olympics, while NBC is actually showing events.

Nope, nothing political here. As long as people like you label anyone with different political beliefs from yours as the devil incarnate and your enemy, this country is going to continue to be polarized and go nowhere while our adversaries just smile and continue to gain ascendency in the world. While you’re busy waving your party flag, our real enemies are laughing at our stupidity and devisiveness.
