Topaz Shut me out

Have a request in with Topaz help but wanted to ask UHH if anyone else is having this problem. In the middle of a project, I started getting trial versions of sharpen and denoise AI programs. Fine, just have to log back in happened before. That didn't work so I tried to reset my password. This did not work, still couldn't log back in. Tried several times in case I mistyped ...to no avail. Thanks for any comments you may have!

Maybe Topaz take lessons from Adobe and cuts off older versions making them inoperative without their "support?"----

You SodaPop have lost your fizz in the world of the Topazian dystopia. A person picked out for Sacrifice. Photograph your crucifixion stigmata when they appear. I sympathize, I have never retrieved my Skylum Luminar after a HD failure ... I was dusted off by their customer service saying it must be some program on my computer interfering... humph... I got tired of fighting.

I understand the following from your statement:
1. You "started getting trial versions of sharpen and denoise AI programs"... Did they just appear or did you have the programs and they were not registered with your serial number so timed-out because they were operating as trial versions?
2. You could not get into your Topaz account to get your program downloads and S#?

Are the two above correct?

I have never experienced a problem with Topaz. I have in my Doc's a Word doc with my S#s. but in my Topaz account, there is a list of my plugins and the S#s... even the old archive plugins.

I think there is a place to click for both your user name and pass word ... "Forgot my password" ...the then send a reset to your E-Mail.

Isn't this similar to the problem you posted about in December? If you now can't log in to your Topaz account, have you tried contacting customer support in any way?

Every time I get an upgrade I have to go through the process of resetting the password. It is a royal pita. When I have an upgrade with Adobe it just upgrades with no hoops and special jumps to get running again. I wish Topaz was the same way.

Same thing happened to me with Sharpen AI. I contacted support and they answered later that day or maybe it was the next day. They said their verification server was busticated, and they sent me a link to download the latest version.

Happened to me too yesterday with topaz sharpen. I went to edit in sharpen and was told I had a trial version. It brought up a sign in screen and after finding and entering my password, all then worked normally. In todays world, a minor glitch.

I got the notice to update Sharpen AI, so I did. It loaded a trial version but I still had the original non trial version in my Start menu. Strangely, the new version is *much* slower on my computer. It's so slow for me on my arguable older computer which likely needs a much better video card, that I could never take the time to see how much better the new version is...

My password still worked. I use LastPass to keep track of my passwords. If I didn't I would likely needed help from Topaz who I hear is responsive.

That said, Topaz is indispensable for post processing. It's magic.

I lost my Topaz Studio and A/I in a hard drive crash. After several phone calls they reluctantly downloaded versions of the original versions (without updates) of what I had lost. Then they peppered me with emails to buy the latest releases. Fortunately, I don't use Topaz very often.

I own several Topaz products, but have had no luck loading GigsPixel. After sending Topaz several email, I gave up after receiving no replies. I looked for a phone number unsuccessfully.

If someone knows a customer service number for Topaz, please pass it on.

Interesting... I just looked at all my Topaz Labs documentation in order to, perhaps, help you. Unfortunately, I can find no phone numbers! All I see available is the Chat box at the lower right of this page: https://support.topazlabs.com/

I have used their support in this way before... (yes, I've had issues, too). They are pretty responsive to the messages. You need to be patient, though, as it may take a day or two. But, they will respond and help.
