From the "godan1 Collection".
More fine photos, not so fine a year for the designers!
Thanks for the surfeit of automotive design beauty from the '50s.

1, 3 and 5 are the real beauties to me.
Yeah the 58 Chevy had a unique rear. Nothing quite like it. I had a 59 with the teardrop light in the rear.

Those were the days...great designs, quad headlights, lots of style and beauty when you could actually tell one model from another.
Nice set. Thanks for the memories.
Nice pictures of some beautiful cars; would like to see some more of the black Mustang in #2. But that Edsel is just plain ugly from that angle.

Let’s face it. The Edsel was ugly from any angle. 😊

The Mustang did not come out in fastback until 1964 so that would not fit the theme.
The Edsel may have been ugly but an Edsel in pristine condition will go for about $10,000, which is a lot more than they cost new.
I love the Chevys but the 58 was sooo big
Not my favorite year for American cars, clunky and way too much chrome.
Nice ones again. I always liked the Edsels, apparently I am one of only a few with those thoughts.
