Road to the North Rim.
This is the road to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon in the fall of the year.
There is more in the picture that meets the eye. Anyone who has taken that road or other roads in desolate Northern Arizona or Southern Utah knows that there is a special feeling you get when you see images like this. I feel like I'm there again when I see this picture.
Yup, 10 miles point to point, 220 mile drive.

And then you get there. Taken in 1974. Take the drive. You won't regret it.

i remember that ride, it was beautiful. glad you were able to capture a scene from it.
I don't know if this is 89A or not, but I remember leaving Kanab, UT and driving to the North Rim. It was 68 degrees in Kanab when we left. When we arrived at the North Rim it was 39 degrees. It was a beautiful drive.
