My friends keep complaining that if I email photos it takes too much time and storage on their computers.
What sites can I place my photos on that can be accessed by friends with a link?
Nest question- is this a good idea?
Thanks,
Robert

You can post 1000 images onto Flickr.com for free, placing them into albums, and send links to the albums. If you pay / subscribe to a pro account, you can upload an unlimited number of images as well as your visitors are not subjected to advertising when browsing your albums.

You might consider too resizing your images to lower the burden on your email friends. See the how-to and why details of this post:

Blimey Paul, you are a wealth of (much appreciated) knowledge! Just curious, is there anything you don't know about, but would like to?

I've been using Mediafire for about 12 years to upload and share images. Any type of file can be uploaded, which makes the service practical beyond photography. No complaints so far!

If you have the PS/LR subscription, they have a site for displaying photos called Behance included in the subscription.

As of a few months back google has stopped unlimited storage. you can upload at lower resolution. storage is now limited to 15GB across all of Google (gmail, drive etc)
However still a good site for sharing purposes.
