This is the beginning of the Superstition Mountains The location is about an hours drive East of Phoenix, Arizona. The photo was made very late in the afternoon, and I love all of the various cacti, bur stay away from the chola.

A beautiful photograph for sure.
If only you could have cut down that pesky tree thing on the left quarter which is a distraction. I suppose the state of Arizona wants it left alone though.

Nice shot, I think I have almost the same pic. Im gonna look and see if I can find it, to see if it was or not. Being from the east on the beach ( flat lander) after a while all those mountains look the same to me.

Beautiful image. (I think you need to add an extra 'L' to the cactus to avoid.)
