Beautiful birds; you must have a long lens, and even then, have to get very close. Years ago, I borrowed my neighbor's B700, 35mm effective zoom to 1,444mm, and still had to be within 15 feet of sparrows to get close shots.

Thank you very much for looking in ElKikkor I really appreciate it and all the pics where taken from hides and have two long lenses,a Sigma DG 150-500 1:5-6.3 APOHSM and a Tamron SP 150-600mm,both great lenses.Hope this helps.Glad you liked them.
