I like all three. 1) I enjoy the first one with the striking colors and the beautiful texture on the bird. 2) I don't favor your second image in the negative format, invert it and I'm back to liking it. 3) You have the pencil technique down pat.

Buy paints, project #1 on canvas, and go to work to be a great artist.
I have used projection to do the start of a painting saves a lot of work and covers up my lack of ability to draw.
