In 2020, C***d made it possible to throw a wrench in the gears. So they did. The Census was late, due to C***d **, so it was rushed. It was ended earlier than was needed to finish it the way it should have been finished.
I would not put much faith in the counts. The Republicans got exactly the kinds of skewed numbers they wanted.
I walked with some of my enumerators through minority neighborhoods as they attempted surveys. Residents in several Hispanic, Asian, and African American communities had no interest in any government surveys, much to their detriment. Self-disenfranchisement due to fears is the equivalent of avoiding the very services they need most. Someone got to those people with disinformation before we showed up. They looked at us in horror.

That is a sad story indeed.
My experience with the DOD and Intel agencies and their contractors was alway positive and apolitical - they just wanted a technical solution, but a number of the civilian agencies (with the exception of NASA) were rife with politics, often to the detriment of their IT HW/SW design, implementation and administration.
