Rookery on a very overcast and dark day

Had to shoot slow because of the lack of light but here is the first real test of the new gear.

Sometimes those details get lost in low light because you don't have any light to really cast a shadow. So I usually add a little black to the scene to enhance just enough shadow to separate the feathers. But yes, low light is actually the best for white birds

Thank you sky King and yes, I remember that show it was one of my favorites when I came to this country. Yes, those are all females with their showy dress. They do a little dents and they stick those little fine feathery tendrils in the air. The third one is actually a pair standing shoulder to shoulder in the opposite direction but the white makes them look like one big bird lol
