Instead of searching for more birds to photograph, I have been skiing. Yesterday there was a 4-inch fall at Alta and I was gone. This is the time of year before the tourists really descend for Spring skiing, so we take advantage of new snow and sun.
I am skiing tomorrow, but after that I will get back to posting (until the next snow).
Comments and suggestions are always welcome.

Great set! Looks cold but perhaps inviting to winter sport fans. Thanx for sharing!
Really nice series, Mike. Don't break anything.

Hmm. I remember that time a couple years ago when you went skiing and broke your.... oh, nevermind. Be careful up there; tourists'll jump out in front of you --they do!-- at the most inopportune moments.
One hand on the ski pole and the other on your camera? Or have you invested in a GoPro strapped to your forehead?
Looks beautiful, have fun!
I very much approve your way of "goofing off" Mike! - Nice shots, I can feel the crisp air!

Mid-twenties, perfect ski weather, Tim. Thanks for looking.

Actually, Jim, just an iPhone and a short stop or two. Although you are correct, some trees will stay in one place for years just waiting for a chance to jump in front of a skier.

It was a perfect ski day, Joe. Our ski friends refer to my wife as the Sun Goddess. If you do not see the sun, you do not see the Goddess.

Excellent set Mike.
Thanks for looking and the kind words, Jim.
You live in such a beautiful place, Mike. We only have water skiing or mud skiing. Great set.

Sometimes we have mud skiing too, Ken. Unfortunately, it can occur in the spring. Thanks for looking.
