Prior to Covid one of my usual haunts was Chinatown in Philadelphia for Lunar New Year. It's hard to describe the event, tens of thousands people, more fireworks than I was ever exposed to. Not just the little fireworks but aerial bombs being launched in the the middle of crowded city streets and not to forget the dragon making it's way around.
Enough about that. Watching the crowd I noticed one woman talking to another and started shooting not knowing what was going on (everyone in yellow is a member of the Suns a civic group). In a matter of seconds I took a number of shots in quick succession not knowing if I had anything till I got home and downloaded the photos.
These three were my reward. I don't know what the conversation was about but I'm sure it was some great gossip.
Sadly the BIG event is canceled again this year with only a small dragon dance next to City Hall rather than 10,000 people wandering Chinatown streets.
Nice finds--the first is the best, to me, focusing on one on the crowd.

Yes, but you can't beat the smile in #3 photo!!
An interesting sequence. But I'll give first place to the third one--love those expressions.
Must be a really noisy event judging by the smart people wearing ear protection.
I like all three but the last is special in showing the positive mood of the participants.
