In defense of Psylab's photo, I don't think it was over done. The low rocky pile in front of the main rock formation is casting a low shadow, indicating that the lighting is due to the setting sun. Each evening I'm treated to the same phenomenon as the setting sun makes the Superstition Mountain turn a beautiful shade of red/orange. A popular saying goes, "when the mountain turns pink, it's time for a drink.

Lived in Mesa growing up (if indeed I ever did). Superstition provides beautiful vistas as the light changes.
