I believe in the U.S. Staples will accept empty ink cartridges.
Not sure how Canada or other countries handle them.

I used Staples to recycle ink cartridges several years ago but recall they limited the number you could recycle each month and the store credit they gave had a time limit before expiring. Since I do not use only smaller amounts of ink, I voluntarily recycle cartridges wherever will accept them.

Try a cartridge buy-back site

Some websites will buy empty cartridges from you as well. And they’re actually willing to pay quite nicely for them. Sites like NeedEmpty, UsRecycleInk and Evolve Recycling will mail you a check when the balance exceeds a certain amount. This amount varies from site to site, but they tend to pay more for laser printer cartridges.

Some office supply stores will offer credits on empty cartridges.

will

I got tired of fooling with cartridges. We bought an Epson EcoTank ET-4700 for the home office. It uses bottled ink. We have had it a year and a half and only used one full set of color inks plus a bottle of black. The printer is shared by five people and gets used daily.

They also sell two photo printers (ET-8500 and ET-8550) that use six color Claria dye-based inks.

how much is the ink Bottleds??? DelRae

I don’t see the credits anymore, either.

You have to have purchased at least $30 of ink or toner at Staples within the previous 180 days, or you receive no credit.
