Sun centered directly behind the top of the...... four exposure focus-stacked (though Fuji calls the shooting side of stuff like this 'focus bracketing') then processed insensibly about fifty different ways, none of which were any better or worse than any other.... and short of doing a sky swap (ack!) nothing was going to make a cloudless day anything other than a cloudless day. Which leads me to make..... a topical, environmental RANT concerning the multi-year drought conditions the west (and the east, and the north, and probably Paduka, too, but I dunno....) continues to suffer through berry, berry much a hindrance.... and which translates out to the fact that there's hardly been any clouds.... and what few clouds (or cloudy days) there have been have not been the least bit photogenic. Not one stinkin' BIT!

Aaaarrrrgh.

Secret Spire don't seem to be too bothered about anything, though. It's kind of minimalist like that.

Very nice monolithic.
I think we have all the water you westerners are missing. Lakes Michigan and Huron are just coming off historic high levels.
If I could give you back your water I would, but these are large-ish lakes and I don’t have enough buckets!

Where I live we could do with a string of sunny winter days - my SAD is spiking!

Very nice work on the image, BTW.
