I've been here for over seventy years. My daughter and her family live in La Canada. It's still a great place to live, but the wildlife population has really increased recently. They have two toddlers, so we really have to be alert with bears, bob cats and coyotes appearing even in the middle of the day. We get them in La Crescenta as well. I finally gave up on having bird feeders. The squirrels, skunks and raccoons were bad enough, but since the bears discovered our patio, pool and spa it just wasn't worth it anymore. Enjoy Idaho, we planned to build on land we had in Montana but finally sold it and decided to stay near the grandkids in spite of being stuck in this state.
