Seems like all I'm doing lately is going to Billings. Had to pick up my ancient Yellow truck from transmission repair. Expensive, I could have gotten a much newer truck for a few hundred more. Anyway, my Wife found a new restaurant to try, Perch. She commented to the Owner / Host that there was no Perch or even other fish on the menu, he had heard that before and suggested a comfortable "perch". It was indeed. A California style Mexican cuisine, very fresh and well executed. The restaurant itself absolutely sparklingly clean and attractive. Burrito for my Wife, three Tacos for me. Very good and fresh, professionally served. The homemade sauces unique and very good, the salsa a bit too spicy for my Wife, so all mine and excellent! Mid range for a lunch with no alcohol. We will visit again. Note: I explained why I was taking pictures, and the Owner / Host shared a rule I had never heard - "The main feature of the dish faces the lens." Apparently well schooled in the culinary arts. What do you think?
Wow after looking at the first picture how could anybody not go in. It's interesting that with all that atmosphere and finery they would serve the dips in plastic cups

Good point! Hadn't thought of it that way at an informal lunch, but you are absolutely right. The Host was going to look in at the photos so he might have a reply.

Looks like a nice restaurant with tasty food! I like the name. It does look a bird on their sign.

Very pleasant, good food. Amazingly clean - last I saw like that was K-Paul in New Orleans a very long time ago. Be curious to see what it looks like "after work" in the City. A bird on the sign indeed!

Yes. In that photo my eyes went to that sign first before the brightly colored pictures of food at the bottom.

Thank you! There are a bunch of good restaurants in the City. If you are ever coming thru Billings, PM me and I'll send you a list of favorites.
