For download via WiFi, I routinely link my iPads to a D500 and Z50 via SnapBridge. But I’m experiencing difficulties doing so with my Z6ii. All IOS and software versions are up-to-date.
Has anyone experienced this problem or successfully linked a Z6ii to SnapBridge?
Is there an additional hidden setting necessary with the Z6ii?
(Apple or SnapBridge haters, pls resist the urge to respond. TY.)
Any reasonable, relevant suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks!

Z7 ii, first experience with SnapBridge. It works, but I only get low resolution from it. Guess I need to experiment some more, but options seem limited.
No problems with my Z7ii - linked to both my iPhone and iPad.

Don't have it, don't use it but, I read if you get hooked up, just leave it on, don't disconnect.
Takes a while to determine how to use it, but works fine
Keep in mind that SnapBridge is designed to give you a quick way to send photos via email or social media.
Thus, it will ONLY transfer a 2 meg version of your photo.
If you want the full resolution original, you can transfer from the camera over wi-fi WITHOUT using SnapBridge.

I never got it to work reliably with either my D5600 or later on my D850; nowadays I do not even have it on my phone anymore. When I want to quickly share a shot - typically w/my family, not social media - I simply take another photo with my phone and send that
I use SnapBridge all the time with my Z6II, D850, D6, D500 and now my Z9. I have no problems. If you have the latest ver. 2.8 it should work just fine. I connect to my Iphone and my Ipad. go to Setup menu, "Connect to smart device, Pairing (bluetooth) and select "start pairing". You don't have to turn on "wi-fi connection" as when you ask SnapBridge to "download pictures it will ask you to "enable camera wi-fi" you tell it OK and it will connect. It may ask you to "join network" you select join and it should connect. As for image sizes, when you select the images to download it gives you the choice of "2 megapixels" or "Original format". I just downloaded a 12 meg file and it came on my Ipad as 12 meg.
If you are still having issues you may want to select the "gear " in the upper right of screen and forget the camera then "add camera" and re-establish the connection. It will even remember the other cameras and allow you to switch cameras. Much better than earlier versions of snapbridge. Good luck.

Not true, it has the option to transfer 2Mb or full resolution with my Z6. I always use full res to transfer.
I don't have any issues with snapbridge using WiFi; however I was never successful using Bluetooth connection. so I stick to what works. I can also control the camera, by using my phone as the camera viewfinder and trigger the shutter. Comes in handy when I set the camera on a tripod and not being able to be near the camera.

Are you shooting raw? SnapBridge will only do high res with JPEG’s. I couldn’t image waiting while those big files transmitted.
I am not shooting RAW, only JPEG. Could that be the difference? RAW may not allow full res transfer.

I’ll have to go dig through the settings, again, then!

Make sure the phone is connected to the camera Wifi, not the home or office WiFi; need to turn on the Z6 or 7 wifi setting and search on the phone for that SSID. Then go to the app and you should be able to link Snapbridge to the camera; you will be able to see all the images that are stored on the XQD or whatever format used to store images on the camera.
