Sirui G-20KX Ball Head Kit (with all original components)
Near Mint Condition (See this Illustrated in the images below)
Only “wear marks” are minor blemish on either end of the bed of the Arca Swiss Mounting Plate.
These marks are due to the safety restraint lock pins on Arca Swiss Plates (cosmetic only).
Price; $69 (includes shipping)
I used this Ball Head for just over a year until I upgraded to both a Fluid Video Head and a Gimbal Head.
What did I like about this Ball Head? Precision machining… Smooth action… Excellent Tension Adjustment which allows for precise tuning with a broad array of camera/lens combinations. Also allows for a 90 degree pivot of a mounted lens/camera combo (no need for an L-Bracket with lighter lenses)
This head is super easy to use and very fast to setup. Ships with a Plate Safety Locking Mechanize.
Its three individual tension control knobs give excellent easy control of every aspect of camera/lens combo
What’s to love about it? Cost Effective and Superb Build Quality!
What is its limitation? Owing to the diameter of the ball it may not work smoothly at its stated maximum load rating of 44lbs. Personally I feel 15lbs may be a more realistic max loading in order to retain its superb silky smooth action.
Virtually no problem with a Pro Build Camera and an IF (Internal Focusing) lens since those pieces of kit have a constant CG,
However it’s not ideal solution for “Pumpers” i.e. like the very popular AF-S 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR who’s CG (Center of Gravity) changes significantly with focal length. While it can work with the 200-500mm, however you may instead want to look at a Three Way Head where each axis can be locked independently.

Important Note: The Sirui G-20KX Ball Head ships with a 3/8 inch-16 UNC thread female mount (which is an industry standard for professional build tripod heads). To mount this on a consumer grade 1/4 inch-20 UNC thread tripod mounting bolt you would need a SmallRig 1/4"-20 to 3/8"-16 Screw Adapter.

Best advice? Maybe don’t consider using this head on a consumer grade set of “Sticks” as there are other more cost effective tripod head options.
