The House committee investigating the J*** 6, 2021, i**********n issued subpoenas to members of former president Trump’s outside legal team on Tuesday, including Trump’s former personal attorney Rudolph W. Giuliani, former White House aide Boris Epshteyn, and lawyers Jenna Ellis and Sidney Powell.
“The four individuals we’ve subpoenaed today advanced unsupported theories about e******n f***d, pushed efforts to overturn the e******n results, or were in direct contact with the former President about attempts to stop the counting of e*******l v**es,” Chairman Bennie G. Thompson (D-Miss.) said in a statement.
Thompson’s statement added, “We expect these individuals to join the nearly 400 witnesses who have spoken with the Select Committee as the committee works to get answers for the American people about the violent attack on our democracy.”
Giuliani and Epshteyn were part of the group of Trump advisers who coalesced at a “command center” at the Willard Hotel in the lead up to the J*** 6 rally on the Ellipse and the counting of e*******l v**es, the committee noted.

Of course, they will not cooperate... but the noose is getting tighter.

No, I made a wager before on the intelligence of the American people, saying they were smarter than to elect a guy like Trump, and sadly I lost.

In this case I am again counting on the American justice system to do the right thing. But I fear that with the legal process of sue, counter-sue, appeal/lose/appeal higher... that these people will again elude the system. Just look at Trump... he has weaselled out of law suits all of his life. Anyone with common sense knows that he has been guilty of numerous wrongdoings, but because of money and creative lawyers he has outlasted his challengers and come out the winner most times; but only because of process, not on the merits of the case.

I think Trump has thrown a MAGA cap onto Lady Justice and it has slipped over her eyes.

I hope you are sitting down my friend. Part of the American justice system is corrupt as it has been since Obama was President. There there poor baby, pobrecito John. You'll get over it in time. Dry those little alligator tears now and move on. Think about how you could improve the Canadian Provinces. That will take you about 100 years IF those in Quebec work with you. How's your French these days?

Take a good look John at the Corporate Legal system all across the world. Do you really think if Trump was corrupt in his business dealings anybody would still be building for him, filling his orders, working for him? Every huge corporation gets sued numerous times. The Sheriff's office I worked for was sued numerous times when a motorist did not like a citation and claimed it was all the fault of the deputy. Often a thug took a swing at a deputy and got his/her ass beat soundly for their trouble and then sued claiming the deputy was too rough, too aggressive. Sometimes to stave off a huge lawsuit where the plaintiff wanted millions, the county offered a couple of thousand dollars just to have it go away. You would be surprised how many times those million dollar lawsuits could be had for a couple of thousand thousand dollars. Once again in your i***tic zeal you focus only on Trump when the t***h of the matter is many huge corporations with deep pockets are sued often. That is no fault of the corporation nor is it any fault of Trump. He has deep pockets too and people will sue for wh**ever they can get. Now deep in the cockles of my heart I know you are aware of this but God forbid you might use some common sense and admit I am right.

As for other charges, tax evasion and other charges of being corrupt, Trump and his corporation have been in business for years now and have made a lot of money. We are told by any number of members here in The Attic that he will soon be indicted for any number of crimes, corruption and you name it, etc. But those people and you never use common sense. If he was gulty of tax problems the U.S Government has had years to file some charges. Surely the corrupt Obama tax department would have taken a look at Trump's taxes, don't you think. Apparently all was in order then. Trump is no longer President. The IRS has had a year now and more to take a good look at Trump's taxes. I have heard not a damn word about him being indicted. YOU???

We have heard numerous times the NYS Attorney General is working overtime to investigate Trump and has been for months. I can only wonder, WTF are those people doing. Trump has not left the country, his business is still in operation. What's UP? NYS has supposedly had 50 years to investigate Trump's business and so far, NOTHING amiss. So does that make Trump and his company guilty of something, anything OR are you all lying and corrupt for even suggesting such a thing? I am going for the latter explanation until I hear something about Trump going to a trial. He does get to have a trial doesn't he? You do know that in corporate matters, many times there is no criminal activity but merely money owed to somebody. The money is paid; no harm no foul.

You have not been taking your TDS meds again have you John. Your doctor, Anthony F***i, will be mighty disappointed in you.

You know my feelings about Trump. You know I was hoping he would get his ass kicked by Mueller for nonsense with the Russians. You know that I hoped he would get sued by Stormy Daniels. You know that I hoped he would be impeached (he was... twice) AND booted from office (but saved by the lame Senate). You know that I hope he gets indicted for his role in the i**********n of 6 Jan. And you know I hope he gets nailed for fraud with his business practices in NYS.

In short, I really hope Trump goes to jail, because no one should be above the law. He has slipped through the fingers of the law too many times. He has been sued multiple times, gone bankrupt several times, he has been proven to have lied over 30,000 times while in office, yet never "caught" because he has money to pay lawyers to play the system (the system itself is rife with opportunities for corruption).

To date none of my hopes for Trump have materialized. And he may yet get away with things yet again, and I will be disappointed, and I will whine and b***h some more.

But rest assured that IF TRUMP GOES TO JAIL I will enjoy holding that over you and your Trumpettes with unbridled glee! And you can bet that some 81 M Americans, a majority of those who v**ed in 2020, will also celebrate.

Have you EVER considered, I know a stupid question, that Trump may not be guilty of anything except pissing off a whole slew of lying corrupt Left Wingers? What are you telling us John, that Trump is just too smart for a number of attorneys general OR he simply did not do anything wrong? I do not know but I am sure as hell not going to waste my time wishing and hoping someone I do not even know goes to jail.

You want someone to not be above the law then why is it you are not looking Leftward. Hillary c***ted during the last primaries. I don't know if that is against the law but it sure as hell is against the laws of ethics. Yet the Left supports her completely. You would v**e for her wouldn't you? Hillary destroyed 30,000 emails after being told not to do so. That is against the law. She destroyed her phones with government information on them. Far as I know that is also against the law. Hillary passed secret documents to those who did not have a clearance to see them. Now I KNOW that is against the law because other people are serving time in a Federal Penitentiary for violating that law. James Comey, himself, said on national television a list of felonies Hillary should be charged with but that he was not going to charge her because most people would not. Of course he was not going to charge her. He was not the attorney general who does such things. Loretta Lynch was the Attorney General who should have done something. But this was the Obama administration where such legalities were not followed much if at all. Lynch never made any comment any way about Hillary and her crimes as I recall. Filing charges against Hillary was her call and she just let it pass her by. I wonder if the unethical airport tarmac meeting between Billy Bob Clinton and Lynch had anything to do with it. I wonder if anybody with ethics and common sense, not too common on the Left, knows in their heart this was all an illegitimate s**m where Bill Clinton and Loretta Lynch did not REALLY talk about grandchildren and golf.

OK one more John. Obama and Eric Holder had no right to sell firearms to the Mexican drug cartel(s). It is illegal, against the law. But they did. ATF agents went to gun stores in Texas and told them it was OK to go ahead with the sale even though the buyers, Mexicans, did not have the authority to purchase those guns. The ATF agents knew it was illegal but were told to do it. Holder and Obama knew it was illegal. But when caught, after Border Patrol agent, Brian Terry, was murdered with one of those cartel firearms, the entire thing was sealed up by Obama for National Security reasons. I am thinking to keep him, Holder and others from a prison sentence later. So if you want to think nobody is above the law John may I suggest you start with the Democratic Party and not Trump.
