Testing the AF sensor array D800

I found this article ( http://www.falklumo.com/lumolabs/articles/D800Focus/SensorArray.html ) which I believe is one of the dilemmas of adjusting focus in fine focus adjustments. If on a zoom lens you only have one adjustment number (Nikon and Sony) or two (Canon) fine auto focus adjustment for a particular focal point on the zoom and each sensor has different focus sensitivity how can anyone ever tune the whole zoom lens.

It might be appreciated if you would post this in the main section also under a heading perhaps geared to attracting the attention of D800 owners so they can be aware of the issue. It would also not hurt for it to be under a heading regarding micro-adjustment in general. I am a Reiken user and advocate as of about 1.5 years ago. One suggestion - for those who use it, if you can, put it on a laptop rather than a desktop in a smaller, less well lighted room lest you want to transport your desktop to another area to use the software.

Yep, figures. It might take on a little different impact if the title referred to a fix for a problem in the new D800 or just referred to the problem period. It doesn't need to be stuck off at the bottom of the page where people get all tuckered out from looking at all the egrets and never make it that far down. :)
