The detailing on the Chevy Bel Air is beautiful. Very nice series.

In my early days, the custom cars left me drooling with envy. Not any more. It's the car that's been restored to original color and configuration that makes me dream of another time. Thanks for including those in your collection of great photos.

My Dad's 1st brand new car was a 53 Chevy with the "blue flame" straight 6 --
It got washed/waxed & polished on a weekly basis

No matter how nice a model from today looks, they just don't make them like any of these anymore.
I would love the baby-blue convertible.

I agree with ghill42. As a teen, I drooled over candy apple red customized classics. I pored over all the digest sized magazines like Customs Illustrated, etc. Working 30 hours a week while in high school and in college, cooled my ardor for the customs. I, too, like an excellent restored to original vehicle, regardless of vintage to this day.

I agree. The over modification leaves me empty. Original is best!
