So you won"t be offended if I suggest you go take a hike.
Brrr! It's too cold, and the snow is too deep. Otherwise, I love hiking. I've gone on several hikes with different hiking groups in the Catskills. We have great trails with great views. The mountains are no more than 4,000 feet, so no matter where you go, it's not a problem.
Won't have to worry about buying face masks for a while. Near the end of last year, our local Walmart had a clearance sale on all their cloth face masks. Got a whole shopping bag full for pennies on the dollar. I guess they thought the Covid crisis was nearing an end. NOT!

I would not use cloth, nor even the regular surgical type masks. Their protection is simply not sufficient. N95, KN95, and N94 all the way, but watch for counterfeits.

Be careful, though, buying cheap KN95s on Amazon, I boughtva pack of 40 and returned them as I am sure they were counterfeit and therefore not providing the protection. How to determine counterfeit?
Mask prices have increased dramatically. In July, I bought forty Honeywell N95 masks for $18. Now, they cost $44 for twenty masks. They say the rich have gotten richer during the pandemic.
Here's my kinda mask, to be used only when required....much easier to breath...washable...available in many different colors...and at good price.
I'm still amazed that some people think a cotton or knit bandana serves as protection against covid, especially the omicron variant.
Doncha think that masks are nothing more than theater to make people think they're getting some protection? Another theory is that masks protect not the wearer, but the people around the wearer. Here in Texas, it's pretty much optional to wear a mask or not. Example: We just left a grocery store, and it was about 50-50 of mask wearers and not mask wearers. If establishments mandate them to enter in, at least these mesh masks let the wearer breathe normally.
